The Southside Denny Band

Denny’s reputation was primarily built as an electric blues guitarist, and he has been in operation as such since the early 1980’s.  The first group to gain notoriety was Southside Denny and the Skintones from South Bend, Indiana.  This group recorded two albums worth of material, and toured heavily in the midwestern U.S. and parts of English Canada. 

Since those days, it has simply been known as the Southside Denny band, comprised of the hottest players to be found in Northern Indiana, Chicago, Indianapolis and Montréal (depending upon which region Denny is in).  There are three more albums in existence from this entity, and they can be ordered direct from the online store on this site.

The current group will not be changing much, because the Larose-Snyder family has decided to hang their hats here in metropolitan Montréal.  Consisting of longtime friends Simon Meilleur on drums and bassist Lindsay Pugh, this band is a reunion of the original Montréal version from the mid 90’s, and promises to be the best to date!  Occasionally a substitute is needed due to scheduling, but it is always a top notch player that fits the mold.  To book or communicate with the electric blues band, please go to the contact page.
