Accomplished professional guitarist Denny Snyder will help you on your way to playing music regardless of age or level of playing. Using his book (Essential Guitar Tools) as well as many other methods, Denny’s unique approach allows him to create an easy road for you to follow and achieve your goals at your pace. The lessons at le Salon de Musique are bound to benefit any level, from complete beginner to achieved players.
Denny has been performing with and teaching the guitar for 25 years now, and is experienced in many styles and techniques. He specializes in slide guitar, alternative tunings and improvisation.
Guitar Therapy
Guitar Therapy is a program for adult players with experience. Many adults shy away from the idea of taking “lessons” again, and understandably so. We live in the age of the guitar and there are many very good players. But with nobody to play with some stop playing, get rusty and then it’s too hard to start over again! We create a comfortable environment for those who have nobody to play with, and you will most likely learn something while having fun at the same time. What better way to forget about the stress of your day than to relax, sit down and play guitar with a pro for an hour?

Music isn’t only about your technique, it’s also about your instrument. Whether your Guitar or Bass is in need of serious repair or just a basic set-up, Le Salon de Musique is the right place to get the best sound and playability from your instrument.
Over the years I have at different times played, owned and/or worked on most models and styles of guitars, and understand how to make them function! I also have a certificate of qualified “fret and set-up technician” from The Galloup Guitar School of Lutherie. So if your guitar seems a little hard to play, or should be sounding better, or the intonation is incorrect, bring it in and let me have a look at it. I guarantee that I can make your guitar play and possibly sound better!
