Denny Snyder
Singer/Songwriter, Guitarist, Teacher, author

Denny Snyder, born and raised in South Bend, Indiana has been playing his music all over North America since the 1980’s. Although this exceptional guitarslinger-singer-songwriter worked a 20 state region, he became known mostly in the states of Indiana, Michigan, and the Chicago scene while also working most major Canadian cities between Québec City and Vancouver. Denny has been mostly seen and heard in either his 3 piece power blues trio or his solo acoustic blues and finger style shows. In February of 2007 he and his family relocated to Montréal, Québec.
And now, after 30 plus years of making music, eight discs and thousands of shows, Denny has added a new dimension to his music that will enable him to incorporate previous aspects of his music along with some new twists.
The addition of his daughter, singer and bassist Lorrie Snyder and his son, drummer and percussionist Philip Snyder come as no surprise to many.
Both have made many cameo appearances with Denny at various concerts and festivals over the past two years, and Lorrie’s voice can be heard on two songs on the ‘Full Circle’ disc (2009). They are currently focused on their summer 2011 concert appearances together, soon to be followed by the recording of new material for a disc in 2012.
